Nico Steel Osier (they/them/he/him) is a transmasculine nonbinary professor who lives in Austin, Texas. They enjoy spending time outdoors and can often be found hiking, relaxing in a hammock, or tending to their garden and indoor plant collection. They currently grow loquats, malibar spinach, tomatoes, several types of peppers, and a variety of flowers. They often draw inspiration from nature for their collages, which sometimes include pressed flowers from their garden. Through art, they re-explore their connection to the world as a transgender individual, and critically evaluate the ways in which they interact with the environment.
